意味やメモ
（和訳は下にあります）
Yesのアルバム「Fragile（邦題：こわれもの）」の収録曲
シングルにもなっています。Yesの曲の中でも有名で、一時期ポップになった時期の曲をのぞけば恐らく一番有名。
長尺、楽器のソロ演奏がたっぷり、オルガンソロ、などなど
いかにもプログレバンドという感じの曲だけども意外と聴きにくいこともなく、
個人的に一番イエスっぽい曲
知名度やライブでの演奏回数、発表時に黄金期メンバーになったということも踏まえると、
一番の代表曲といってもいいと思います。
作品は1971年のもので当時から有名でしたが、
最近は2012年にアニメ「ジョジョの奇妙な冒険」の第一部エンティングに使われたということでも知られてます。
アニメ？って感じですが、わざわざこの曲を選ぶだけあってかなり雰囲気にあってます。
他にも、登場キャラクターの名前も洋楽ロックのプレイヤーやバンドまんまの名前になっているので、
そういう意味でもロック好きはかなり楽しめました笑
余談でした
歌詞の説明をする前に、「ラウンドアバウト」について
まずラウンドアバウトとは、こんなです
日本語では環状交差点という訳になります、が
日本にはあまりないので、日本でもラウンドアバウトと、
英語圏で使われているように呼ばれることが多いです
ラウンドアバウトは基本的に一方通行で、
また、行く先の道が目の前に来るまでくるくる回り続けることになります。やろうと思えば、ずっと回っていられます。
そのように、車はラウンドアバウトを使って行く方向を変えます。
歌詞の意味
それを踏まえて、歌詞の意味ですが
ちっぽけな人生においてくるくる回り続ける、そんな感じです。
谷や暗いことがあっても夜明けは訪れ、出会いがあり、踊り歌い
太陽と大地に圧倒され、自分をちっぽけな存在だと実感する
生の喜びにあふれている感じです。
原曲も良いですがライブもすごいから見て！荒ぶっている！
