ビートルズのアルバム「ラバー・ソウル」の収録曲。邦題は「恋をするなら」。
歌詞は、ちょっと恋したくなった時には君を呼ぶよ、今日はそういう気分なんだ、っていうノリの軽い感じのもの
訳注ですが
You're the one that I'd be thinking ofは
直訳では、君は僕が考えるだろう一人だ、
one that~~は、「～する人、なもののうちの一つ。同じ種類のもののうちの一つ」のような意味なので
ここでは、君のことは考えると思う、とか、君みたいな人のことを考えるだろう、とかそんな感じになります。
よく言う仮定法ってやつもわかりやすい形で使われていて、
Ifがつく文の主節に、wouldがある形がいくつかあります。
意味は、if~の場合は、こうする「だろう」。
wouldはwillの過去形とか言われたりしますが、仮定の世界の未来を表す、みたいな感じで解釈するといいかもしれませんね。
